25 GAMES that DEFINED the ZX SPECTRUM 16K (1982-1985)

The original ZX Spectrum had 16K byte RAM, of which the first 7K bytes where occupied by the video buffer, and only the remaining 9K were available for code. Keep that in mind when seeing these games, they only take up 9K of game code, and for that reason some of them are mighty impressive! There were also some great conversions of arcade games, but as these games had their origin in the arcade machines they can not define the ZX Spectrum 16k, they define the arcade games from that era. Most of these early 80s arcade conversions were unofficial, and has therefore been renamed. Renamed conversions of Phoenix, Scramble, Frogger, Rally X, Galaxian, Centipede, Breakout, Defender, Pengo, Frogger, Space Invaders etc. is not included in this video.
