The world’s first robot for rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis

The Danish medical technology start-up ROPCA ApS has launched its first medical product, the arthritis robot “ARTHUR“, which is already being used in the first hospitals. It is based on the lightweight robot LBR Med and supports the early diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis using robot-assisted ultrasound. This ultrasound robot enables autonomous examination and can thus counteract the shortage of specialists in medicine.
