The Old Familiar December Captured My Heart! The candles flicker slowly in the window the nights are long, dark and cozy. Only the warm lights of the neighbouring houses filter in through the dark foggy windows. In the kitchen something delicious is always cooking and the closer we get to Christmas Day the more the pots and boxes fill up with sweet cakes🍪 A copy of Little Women lies on the cupboard by the bed to transport you to a charming magical place in the evenings. Almost every day I bake something while diligently planning the festive menu. Soft Christmas melodies waft as I wrap the children’s presents, bake gingerbread and dream of a snow-white Christmas. Even though the snow has melted and doesn’t seem to be coming for days, I’m secretly looking forward to a white blizzard! and get ready to bake and cook.. I wish you and your family a wonderful peaceful Christmas!🌲🦌 See you again soon!
