Waterloo - First Battle 1970 (Belgium, Progressive/Jazz Rock) Full Album

The only album of the Belgian group, created in October 1969 from musicians of two disbanded groups - “Adam’s Recital” and “Today’s Version”, who met during the rock festival in Bilzen. The album “First Battle“ was released in February 1970. Immediately after the album’s release, the band held a press conference in Brussels, which was shown several times on Belgian television. But, despite such powerful information support, only a few thousand copies of the album were printed, which were quickly sold out in Belgium. Throughout the year, the group performed actively in continental Europe, and its popularity gradually grew. In September 1970, the group released a single with new material, and in November participated in the prestigious Ghent Festival along with “The Greatest Show On Earth”, “Fynn McCool”, “Stray”, “Judas Jump”, Belgian groups “Captain Bismarck”, “Carriage Company“, “Recreation“, “Jenghis Khan“ and the Americans “Van And Gayle“.
