I converted Amla berries into yummy sugar candies to keep my Grandmother healthy! | Traditional Me

After raining continuously in the past few weeks, now the dry season has started. Due to this sudden weather change, suddenly grandmother got sick with a phlegm attack! For safe side she was sent to Vedha mama’s (Ayurvedic doctor’s) house to get some medicine with the brother! Vedha mama (Ayurvedic uncle) is a distant relative of ours. The Ayurvedic house is very well known with everyone in our village as they visit Veda mama for every trouble and sickness before trying other alternatives. Ayurvedic uncle has given grandmother 4 dried herbal medicinal packs to boil into a potion and drink. At the same time she had been advised by him to eat Amla berries(indian gooseberry) as much as she can!Unfortunately grandmother do not fancy Amla berries at all. So I spent time thinking and making few Amla candies for grandmother, so at least one or two Amla fruits will go into her body!
