Meet the commander of an antitank battalion of the 3rd separate assault brigade (the remains of the “Azov” battalion)

By an incredible twist of fate, his last name is none other than Romanov (pure ethnic Russian). In this video, in perfect native Russian that he speaks fairly eloquently for somebody who ostensibly doesn’t use it much, as he clearly implies, he states that he’s given an oral order to his fighters to execute civilians caught setting fire to military vehicles on the spot because its wartime or something. Oh, and to add that special Ukrainian touch, he calls his fellow countrymen “Colorado potato beetles” – a nickname Ukrainian nazis gave to Russians for wearing St. George’s ribbons that have a color combination similar to that of the Colorado potato beetle. This is where Ukraine is at.
