RER (Réseau Express Régional) is an urban rail network serving the Île-de-France region (Greater Paris) that runs through the city of Paris. Public transport in Paris has two main pillars - Paris metro and RER. Paris RER trains are high capacity mostly bi level trains. Some tunnels are very deep and system is well integrated with metro.
