Reminiscence ~ An Ashen Waltz (Remix) - The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles 【COMMISSION】

The Great Ace Attorney is finally out in the West, and I know I’m a little late to the party, but that’s because I’ve been busy finishing the two games myself! I will always very much appreciate the soundtrack of this series and what better way to celebrate than with an arrangement. There are some big hits in the OST (which I’ll get to someday!) but the lesser known tracks also deserve appreciation, and I was so glad to have someone commission me to do just that! This piece was commissioned by ProPinkist, a big fan of the character to which this particular theme pertains to. When she approached me with the request, the main points to note were: upbeat, emotional, and acoustic. Another key point was the music box/celeste sound, as it’s such an important part of the original track and also hold significant meaning for the case in which the theme plays.
