The tale of Tsar Saltan

The Tale of Tsar Saltan – is a 1984 Soviet traditionally animated feature film directed by Lev Milchin and Ivan Ivanov-Vano and produced at the Soyuzmultfilm studio. It is an adaptation of the 1831 poem of the same name by Aleksandr Pushkin. The fairy tale is a story of the marriage of Tsar Saltan and the birth of his son, Prince Guidon, who, due to the machinations of his aunts, ends up on a desert island, meets the sorceress-Princess Swan and with her help becomes a powerful ruler and reunites with his father. 01:20 – Beginning of the story. 05:32 – Tsar Saltan goes to war. 16:06 – A cask washed ashore.
