It was a healthy way to decompress/meditate after a long working day while still being on dark fantasy theme. Tavern “One Legged Wolf” is my “one man band” project that I’m excited to share with anyone who is into lo-fi black metal. 400 images used to illustrate the “Story of a lone man traveling through a strange medieval land to meet his friends at the Tavern “One Legged Wolf” were generated entirely by ai Mid Journey and is a big reason why I decided to release the album now, few years after I had recorded this stuff in my living room. I wanted to make what I’d identify as a “Cozy Lo-Fi Medieval Dark Fantasy Black Metal” and something that brings a certain sense of comfort and a fun old-school dark fantasy atmosphere. Special thanks to my brother Alexander for teaching me how to play guitar when I was a kid and for music production tips (that I didn’t follow when it came to sound mixing lol), Dmitry Parkin for coming up with the name idea for the album as a joke that became real, and of course my wife Masha for ongoing support on my crazy adventures :D
