Stevie Wonder - EBONY EYES - (w/lyrics)

The song title “Ebony Eyes“ has been used by other artists (i.e. John Loudermilk, Rick James, Bob Welch, the Everly Brothers) but here, it’s an original by Stevie Wonder. I have loved this song since I first heard it from the album, “Songs in the Key of Life“ (1976) . Not being a Supremes fan, I never even considered the connection between Wonder and Diana Ross (for whom he shared a deep and lifelong affection). Though I have read that this song could also be a tribute to Florence “Flo“ Ballard, one of the original founder/members of the Supremes in 1964, most people believe it was written about Diana Ross. Seems logical to me considering the lyrics. Diana Ross (who recently turned 70) is a world-renowned singer, actress, model, fashion designer and concert performer. She is customarily referred to as an “icon“ or “diva“. After making this video, I have no doubt about it. I rather regret not having paid attention to her promin
