Hymn to Hekate

I created this piece for a ritual for Hekate run by Sorita d’Este in London back in November 2019. I offer it to all devotees of this powerful, multi-faceted Goddess. Lyrics: I call Enodian Hekate, lovely maid of the three ways Of oceans, earth and stars above us Saffron veil enshrines her face In darkness souls of the departed Throng around the lovely Queen Dance to please the Persian Huntress Bearer of the secret key Barking dogs announce her passing Serpents coil and owls take flight I call Enodian Hekate Bless us Goddess, bless this rite These lyrics are my adaptation of the Orphic Hymn to Hekate. The tune is inspired by the adaptation created by Melissaofthebees (on You Tube).
