Riley & Scott Mk III C LMP900 Racing on Track: Close Ups, Accelerations & Brutal V8 Sound!

Here’s a video about two Riley & Scott Mk III Cs my friend @Italiansupercarvideo and I recorded during two rounds of the Endurance Racing Legends series at Circuit Paul Ricard, for the 2022 Dix Mille Tours, and at Mugello Circuit, for the 2022 Mugello Classic, both organized by Peter Auto. The black Riley is in the hands of Ascott Collection and it’s driven by Xavier Micheron while the white one, featuring the American Spirit Racing livery, is driven by Emmanuel Brigand. The Riley & Scott Mark III was developed by Bob Riley, Bill Riley, and Mark Scott in 1993 for the World Sports Car (WSC) class which was to set to debut in the North American IMSA GT Championship in 1994. In 1999, Riley & Scott evolved the Mk III’s designs in order to adapt to the newer LMP900 regulations which were used in several series. The new Mark III Series C debuted in 2001 as the final evolution developed by the company before they moved on to other programs. In total, five Mk III Cs were constructed by Riley & Scott, although only four were used for competition purposes (in this video black one is chassis 05, white one is chassis 02). Listen to the brutal sounding Ford Elan 6L8 V8 engine able to produce around 620 hp and 670 Nm of torque! 0:00 Details & Warm Up 1:32 Mugello Circuit - pt. 1 3:20 Circuit Paul Ricard 7:11 Mugello Circuit - pt. 2 #RileyAndScott #Mk3C #RileyMk3C ------------------------------------------------------------ I have to thank my friend and youtuber @Italiansupercarvideo the great collaboration done during these events.
