New York City September 11th Rainbow - and Tribute in Light

EarthCam captured a storm that hung over New York City which broke just in time to create a rainbow over the city on Monday. The spectacular sight took place as New Yorkers marked 22 years since the September 11th terror attack on the World Trade Center. As the rainbow faded away, the Tribute in Light, a commemorative public art installation from dusk to dawn on the night of September 11, lit up the skyline.
