Eclerka’s story began with tragedy, as she was found abandoned, a mere piece of trash, discarded and forgotten by those who should have cared. Her front legs were missing, leaving her to drag herself painfully across the rough pavement. Her eye was injured, a gash marring her face, while larvae feasted upon her weakened frame.
