This sort of shot has been seen in action films such as A Good Day To Die Hard and Quantum of Solace, with characters smashing though a window as the camera appears to track behind them and follow them over the edge of a building. In my version I added some dinosaur noises as a good motivator to jump out of the window and get out of the house fast! Made using some creative compositing in Adobe After Effects, including practical elements filmed in front of a green screen, the shatter effect used on a solid to create the glass breaking and added elements of real glass cracks.
