Needless to say I was completely bowled over. And it changed things for both of us. Alex won awards and festivals with it all over the world and record labels and publishers started chasing us. I suppose it is one of the first electro-swing tracks. It emerged out of my love of thirties music and hallucinatory things. I still, and always will, love it.
