Loot Radio 002: Hiroyuki Kajino We continue our story with the deep, delicate sounds and beautiful music of Hiroyuki Kajino. Hiroyuki is a driving force for dance music in Japan, having run some of the countries best record shops and pioneering the DJ mix format on FM Yokohama. Starting out as a new wave DJ and later on focusing on hip hop, he soon released a record on one Major Force, one of the most prevalent hip hop labels of the time. He later worked with Masabumi Kikuchi on deep house and opened for the legendary Larry Levan of Paradise Garage fame. Today he’s focused on making new music and his sounds can be heard on labels such as All Day I Dream, Everything Will Be OK and Loot Recordings to name a few. His new remix with Yuichiro Kotani of SIlence Path “Alternative Reality” is a deep affair of rolling drums and warm piano melodies.
