Beyond Between explores extended harmonies in 22EDO using relatively traditional composition techniques. The harmonies were written giving careful consideration to voice leading, focusing on the use of microtonal (in particular quarter-tone - 55 cents in 22EDO) displacements to accentuate the innate qualities of 22EDO.
