NASA Pays Tribute to Fallen Heroes with Day of Remembrance

NASA honors members of the NASA family who lost their lives while furthering the cause of exploration and discovery, including the crews of Apollo 1, Challenger STS-51L, and Columbia STS-107 during the agency’s annual Day of Remembrance on Thursday, Jan. 27. This year’s NASA Day of Remembrance marks 55 years since the Apollo 1 tragedy. Live from NASA Headquarters in Washington, NASA Administrator Bill Nelson will join NASA Deputy Administrator Pam Melroy and Associate Administrator Bob Cabana for a panel discussion about safety and lessons learned from the agency’s tragedies. #NASARemembers
