Ziggy Stardust (acoustic David Bowie cover) - Mike Massé feat. Fernando Rondelli (Live in São Paulo)

“Ziggy Stardust“ by David Bowie, an acoustic cover performed by Mike Massé and Fernando Rondelli at Manifesto Bar (@ManifestoBarOficial) in São Paulo, Brazil, on April 14, 2024. I was in Brazil for RushFest as a special guest performer, and made time to do my own solo acoustic show in SP while in the neighborhood. The bassist, Fernando, reached out to me, volunteering to sit in, if I wanted some local help. I could tell he was a great player by the footage he sent me, so we agreed on some songs, and off we went. We had a brief soundcheck, so most of the material we were running together for the first time during the set. I could tell he was a pro and could handle it, and it went great. The audio you hear is direct stereo feed from the soundboard, mixed with a little audio from the camera to add some of the room sound. The vocal reverb is a bit more than necessary, but I’m sure it sounded fine in the room. I added a doubling effect on occasion from a patch I made on my TC Helicon Voicelive 3 Extreme.
