3 Quick CNC Projects

In today’s CNC project video we show you 3 quick projects that you can knock out in a couple of weekends in the shop. 1. The first project is a shop clock made from laminated maple and walnut. The numbers and logo were carved out using the Astra Coated 30 degree v-bit part# . To cut the clock out of the maple/walnut panel we used an Astra Coated 1/4“ Down Cut 2FL Spiral Bit Part# 420-DNC250. 2. The second project we built was a piece of wall art and a nice picture frame to hang it on the wall. The tree design was cut out using our Astra Coated 30 degree v-bit part# . 3. The final CNC project isn’t a complete project but rather a tip on how you can make your shop drawer fronts look awesome! We began by roughing most of the material using an Astra Coated 1/8“ Compression Bit Part # 425-CM125. Next we switched to the Astra Coated 30 degree v-bit part# to carve out the finer details.
