While many of them are hardly bearable, the latest one - Rafta Rafta - is quite a treat. The song from Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se is a remixed medley of several famous songs – Rafta Rafta, O Mere Sona Re, Salaam-E-Ishq and Main Jat Yamla Pagla Deewana. And the makers introduced the medley using a radio as a prop, thus bringing in more than a dash of nostalgia. The amalgation of songs features Dharmendra, Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Rekha prominently, with a cameo by Shatrughan Sinha. While Salman and Sonakshi brought freshness to the new version, Dharmendra and Rekha - who also starred in the original Raft Rafta - were the ones who totally won our hearts. Read Also: Salman rightly complemented Dharmendra as the duo brought fun to the songs. While their expressions are to die for, Salman and Dharmendra gave proper respect to the iconic numbers. Adding his X-factor, Salman rightly said that the story has emotion, drama and tragedy (paraphrasing a line famously said by Dharmendra in Sholay, which was incidentally co-written by Salman’s father Salim Khan). Sonakshi also played an important part in making the song beautiful. Hitting the dance floor, Sona danced to the tunes of O Mere Sona re and totally rocked it. She also shared screen space with dad Shatrughan Sinha briefly. But, it was actually Rekha, who gracefully danced to Salaam-E-Ishq, who was the highlight of the song. Rekha with Dharmendra and Salman The medley ended with Sunny and Bobby Deol joining Salman, Sonakshi, Dharmendra and Rekha on the dance floor, and dancing to Main Jat Yamla Pagla Deewana. The medly has been crooned by Rekha, Sonakshi Sinha, Vishal Mishra, Jordi Patel, Disha Sharma and Akash Ojha. Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se is set to release on August 31. Rafta Rafta Dekho featuring Dharmendra and Rekha from the film Kahani Kismat Ki? The yesteryear song has got a makeover and it features in Dharmendra’s upcoming film Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se. The song is nothing like the Kishore Kumar classic and it has undergone major twist. Rafta Rafta is a remixed medley of several Bollywood songs - Rafta Rafta, O Mere Sona Re, Salaam-E-Ishq and Main Jat Yamla Pagla. Dharmendra, Salman Khan, Rekha, Shatrughan Sinha, Sonakshi Sinha, Sunny Deol, and Bobby Deol are part of the foot tapping number. The minute video opens with Dharmendra and Salman Khan lip syncing famous dialogues from each other’s films. Then enters Sonakshi Sinha, who dances to the tunes of O Mere Sona Re. Sonakshi’s father Shatrughan Sinha makes a brief appearance in the video. Rekha’s appearance in the video is hands down the best part. She gracefully dances to Mukaddar Ka Sikander song Salaam-E-Ishq. The medley ends with the entry of Sunny and Bobby Deol, who are joined by Dharmendra, Salman, Rekha, Sonakshi on the dance floor.
