American aroid and orchid nursery in Thailand @

Naan from @kanjaringreens reached out to me about a year ago to invite me over to her mom’s farm in Bangkok, which I thought is the sweetest thing. Naan and Suwat lives in the United states, but has deep roots in Bangkok with a family legacy in horticulture. They share their family history briefly as we casually tour their sprawling huge nursery covered in Philodendrons, orchids, and hoyas! They also share with us behind the scenes of tissue culture of aroids as well as orchids. We later find out that their late father was one of the pioneers in the Orchid rush back in the days, and that his siblings each own massive orchid nurseries with the best hybrid program! There will be casual care tips thrown at you throughout the episode as we discover some common and rare philodendrons coming into cultivation.
