Restoring Cobras & Hueys at the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation

A visit to the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation (AAHF) in Hampton, GA in late March 2021, where the national one-of-a-kind non-profit organization restores, maintains & operates a fleet of Vietnam & Desert Storm-era combat veteran Huey & Cobra helicopters. They are composed of Veterans, their families & civilian supporters, working together to keep Army Aviation history alive through various youth & public outreach events, air shows, flyovers, movie & TV show productions & more. The company also provided an update on their Cobra ’Project 295’, currently being restored to its original glory when it came out of production as the 50th Cobra ever made.
