Printing an absurd image of a printing press with a printing press for Nat’l Absurdity Day (Nov 20)

November 20th is National Absurdity Day! It is a day to celebrate all things absurd. While there are many letterpress cuts in the Lewis Winter Collection, we decided to highlight a cut of a printing press from the miscellaneous collection. This cut depicts a Peerless jobbing press. What is absurd about the image is that it depicts two different operations at the same time.
