The Same Old ... “Mud“ (1932)

Full title reads: “’Nr. Amesbury. The Same Old ... ’Mud’ - not quite the Flanders variety, but nevertheless, MUD - turns up at ’Battle of Salisbury Plain’ during Manoeuvres of our now almost wholly mechanised Army.“ Amesbury, Wiltshire. Soldiers ride on horseback across muddy field. More shots of cavalry troops moving about. Infantry troops march along a country lane in their rain capes. Two young boys stand to one side playing with their yo-yos. The men are singing and whistling a tune as they march along. Armoured personnel carriers on tracks move along a road. They produce a lot of fumes. Armoured cars move across a muddy field - they are fairly clearly related to ordinary road cars. Small armoured personnel carriers called ’Whippets’.
