This song really spoke to me and I thought it would work really well as a metal tune. Dealing with the emotional fallout of attempting suicide can lead to many difficult feelings, shame and guilt being high on that list. I feel like saying “try walking in my shoes“ often. Unless you’ve been there, passing judgment is unkind, ignorant, and usually stems from your own anger at the person.
