How to Stain Spindles or Paint Spindles Fast using Paint Mitt

I am at one of my recent flips and I am staining a 12 x 12 deck. The deck has 56 spindles, so I grabbed one of my trusted tools to get the job done efficiently. I have used the Paint Mitt on other projects and it is well worth it. For $6 bucks, you can’t beat the value. I never tried to wash the mitts for subsequent jobs, so I can’t really say whether you can or can’t, try for your self and let me know. The only draw back I have is the mitt tends to slip out of your hands, but it isn’t to the point where you can’t keep going. Also, usually the back of the spindles doesn’t get as much coverage as the front and sides, probably due to the nature of how the pressure is distributed when holding the spindles. You might find it necessary to go back and hit the back of the spindles. That shouldn’t take more than a few seconds per spindle. You may also use the mitts to paint your deck spindles.
