A former German ship the De Kalb ablaze off the coast of the United States of America. Full titles read: “Are they all accidental ? - The De Kalb - former German raider mysteriously catches fire, like many other commandeered ships.“ L/S of the De Kalb on fire off the American coastline, she appears to be listing badly. C/U of smoke is pouring from the portholes. M/S of firemen on the safer parts of the deck spraying the fire with water from their hoses. Interesting M/S from the deck of the listing ship, the fire now appears to be out. The deck looks completely gutted. Two firemen inspect the damage.
