Eccentric Steps (1925)

From “Dover Street to Dixie“ - the well known London Pavilion Revue. Two black dancers dressed in striped outfits - (convicts?) dance in front of a paddle steamer set. They do a bendy legged tap dance. Lots of wild movements. A guy in the background is pretending to play the double bass. Note: the dancers are probably U.S. ’Slow Kid’ Thompson and Willie Covan. The Plantation Trio (aka The Three Eddies) are mentioned in paperwork. Florence Mills also appeared in this C.B. Cochran revue but does not appear in this item. Florence was married to U.S. ’Slow Kid’ Thompson. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
