Air Raid Precautions (1938)

Full title reads: “Air Raid Precautions at Wellington Barracks“. London. VS of soldiers of the Grenadier Guards marching on the parade ground at the Barracks. A soldier runs to a sergeant and warns him of an air raid. Sarge blows his bugle. The soldiers runs from the parade ground at the double. Several smoke bombs are exploded to simulate a bombing raid. Top view of soldiers manning anti-aircraft gun. VS of soldiers pulling on gas masks and demonstrating their readiness to cope with attack. VS soldiers in chemical warfare clothes run around parade ground and spray water to disperse gas. They look very sinister in their all over clothing.
