Daniela Lalita – Trececerotres

I’ll end with the beginning. I’ve tried to give it a shape and a name but it’s taken so many faces, I don’t really know when it’s there. A little girl, Ingrid, a tower, a room. It can possess anything and anyone. It’s shapeless, eternal, free, insidious. We’ve been doing this for so long, this dance, whatever this is. I’ve learned to develop my own ways, like offerings to a deity. I need to feed it and tame it. This isn’t horror and it’s not evil, this isn’t about that. It’s just what happens. So I make my own rituals. It gets better when I create things and when I’m proud. It gets better when you’re watching me.
