Soft Pastel Marathon - Day 9 | Dandelions tutorial

In this step by step real time tutorial I will show you how to draw dandelions in a glass cup with soft pastels on sandpaper. I will show you a trick of how you can get the sanded surface for your work in any color you need it to be using simple sandpaper, soft pastels and water. For the sanded surfaces harder pastels work the best as they do not fill the tooth of the paper as much as the extra-soft do and you can apply multiple layers. We will look at how to draw ’hairy’ flowers such as dandelions and how to approach glass in your drawings.
