Species Profile: Vieja Breidohri Cichlid Pair With Eggs: Here is a species profile of the Vieja breidohri. In the video I was also able to get some shots of our pair laying eggs which was pretty cool. This species is a good example of a nicely colored central american cichlid species that in my opinion is aggressive but relatively easy to manage in a 75 gallon aquarium and up. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a big central american cichlid with color and personality but not necessarily a tank buster.
