Tiny House Shower Part 1 - Flashback to the Start, Window Plans, & Cob

Welcome to a little video series all about building the shower inside my tiny house barn conversion here in Central Portugal! Before diving into the shower build, this video takes you back to September 2021 when I first bought my place and I’ll share some footage of the early days as I built the shower corner up to what it is today. I’m so excited for this job and to share the series of videos! I plan on installing pipes for the shower fixtures, adding a window above the shower, building a whole new wall using wattle and daub, completing the wall above the shower using cob (a mixture of clay, sand, and straw), and then rendering the shower space with lime. I feel like it’s probably unusual to attempt to build an indoor shower space using natural materials, but I’m going to give it a try anyway!
