Yerzhan Mussafirov - Lightweight

25-year-old Mussafirov was little known on the international boxing scene before he joined the World Series of Boxing. In 2009 he won a silver medal at the Kazakhstan National Championships. The only AIBA international competition that Mussafirov participated in before joining the WSB was the 2009 World Championships in Milan, Italy, where he lost in preliminaries to Sergey Vodopiyanov from Russia.
