Weird $40 CPU Cooler: Jiushark JF13K Diamond Flat Tower Review

Sponsor: Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut thermal paste (on Amazon - ) & Hydronaut for water cooling (Amazon - ) A ton of you emailed us about the Jiushark JF13K, an extremely unique low-profile “flat tower“ CPU cooler. This downdraft CPU cooler immediately positions itself among the best CPU air coolers on the market in 2023, and that’s without even leveraging the usual height. Instead, it runs a wider heatsink over the RAM and VRM, giving the side benefit of reduced thermals on the directly exposed MOSFETs. This cooler was $40 when we reviewed it. We tried to find it a few months ago (before it was publicly available) and ended up asking Scythe for help. Scythe sent us the cooler because, even though they’re a “competing“ brand, they actually are Jiushark’s distributor for the Japanese market. Pretty cool cross-over! This might be one of the best CPU coolers to consider for a low-profile, mini-ITX, or small form factor build. It definitely looks unique.
