Tokyo-based two-piece Sonoko Nebashi and Dave Gatchell have been making music together since 2006 as 1000s of Cats. A delightful, noisy and unique blend of kids song and angular indie-punk, spiced with a certain rough garagy character, which Sonoko’s voice rounds it up to make it ultra-catchy and instantaneous, that after so long and at least 4 albums behind them, now we are aware of their existence through Minneapolis’ Mpls Ltd, which is releasing their latest full-length, “Next of Cat“.
