Glazing Possibilities- 28 Different Approaches to Glazing Pottery!

This video is preparing my Ceramics students to glaze their pieces at the end of the semester. In this video, I glaze 28 wheel thrown bowls. We use stoneware glazes (cone 5 and 6 midfire) on our Standard 153 stoneware, a nice midrange firing stoneware. I used Coyote brand cone 6 glazes and underglazes in the carved design grooves on a few bowls to keep the stoneware glazes separate when they fire. I am currently looking for a replacement clay body which has a smaller firing range. Here is a link to the follow up video showing the final glaze results!! I will link a document with the finished fired examples showing how the glazes turned out when I get back to school in January!
