LIVE: Pope Francis visits Lesbos migrants camp in Greece

Pope Francis visits a migrant camp near Mytilene on the Greek island of Lesbos on Sunday, December 5. The visit follows an invitation from the Greek president and will mark the second time the pope has visited the country. In 2016 Pope Francis also flew to Lesbos, where he paid a visit to Moria migrants camp. ​ In 2001 Pope John Paul II became the first Roman Catholic leader to step foot in Greece after the division of christianity.
