CHANTRY HOUSE grinds it out to win the 2022 Cotswold Chase & hand JP McManus a 4000th career success

It wasn’t all plain sailing for Chantry House, who raced on and off the bridle in first-time cheek-pieces on his first start since disappointing in the King George on Boxing Day, but he found extra up the hill to take the Grade 2 Cotswold Chase under Nico de Boinville for trainer Nicky Henderson. The victory was also a landmark victory for owner JP McManus as this success marked his 4,000th success as an owner. Henderson added: “It’s wonderful to train JP’s 4,000th winner and nothing gives me more pleasure than doing that and it’s lovely that it’s here in a proper race at Cheltenham.“ For the full story: #HorseRacing #Horses #CheltenhamFestival #JumpsRacing This is the official YouTube channel of Racing TV.
