LIVE: Davos opening - Ukraine First Lady Zelenska to address World Economic Forum. Olena Zelenska has arrived in Switzerland to rally support for Ukraine from the global elite at the Davos summit. The first lady of Ukraine stepped onto the tarmac in Zurich today ahead of the 52nd annual World Economic Forum (WEF) at the high-end ski resort, attended by world leaders and business tycoons. She is expected to make a speech on Tuesday while other Ukraine officials will speak on panels in the bid to to forge greater unity at the summit where Russia’s oligarchs are conspicuously World Economic Forum (WEF) returned to Davos for its first winter session in three years with high expectations. Record numbers of government officials and business leaders were expected at the elite annual affair. However, the shadow of impending recession hung over the snow-covered Swiss ski resort as two surveys warned of trouble ahead for businesses and governments in 2023. A survey of CEO attitudes by PwC was the gloomie
