Hello folks! Today I want to show you a new restoration project. I bought this old rusty military knife at a flea market. According to the condition of the blade, it can be assumed how long it was used. The seller said that this knife was produced in the early 20th century, but I’m not sure if anyone knows for sure, please write. Well, let’s start restoration!

First, I removed old aluminum rivets from the knife handle. Then, I used rust remover liquid to clean the knife. After, I washed, dried and oiled the knife — as usual.
I cleaned and corrected the shape of the knife and made new bevels. Also, I sanded knife little. For knife handle, I chose white and dark nut tree. I glued the pieces of wood and made two pieces for handle. I used brass rivets.
For knife, I made also wood sheath with belt leather clip. And I made an interesting knife test for you. I hope, you will enjoy this knife restoration video. Thank you!
