Old School Deep House & Garage Mix (1991-2007)

Live From Da Underground — the After Hours Mix is a tribute to underground scenes all over particularly Chicago, Detroit, and NYC. These places fostered a space for these scenes to not only arrive but to thrive. This mix is a continuation of the Live from Da Underground Series. It’s a sort of fusion between my two previous deep house mixes. Essentially, tracks that range from relaxing at home to grooving on the dance floor and everything in between. The sourcing of tracks continued into the early 90s and further into the underground. Still more discovery through DJ sets, really hidden Spotify playlists, specific YouTube channels, and hours going through catalogs of records on Discogs reading through comments. More treasured labels I enjoyed going through included Sub-Urban, Digital Dungeon, Hi-Bias, and Slip-n-Slide to name a few.
