3,000,000 Volts! (1939)

Titles read: “3,000,000 VOLTS!“ Sharon, Pennsylvania, United States of America. Several demonstrations in a laboratory shows a spark of 3,000,000 volts splitting a telegraph pole and reducing a man’s shirt to a tattered mess. A group of men (journalists?) watch and jump at the sound of the electricity. Outside, a bale of hay is first protected by lightning conductors that protect it from the volts. When the conductors are removed the hay catches fire and starts to blaze. Several brief shots of massive electric sparks of ’home-made lightning’ fizzing around conductors against a black background.
