️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Throughout the week, Ukrainian forces continued to terrorize the civilian population of Russia. The Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) carried out drone strikes on rear regions and shelled front-line territories. ▪️ Russian air defense crews intercepted seven enemy drones over the territories of Kaluga and Moscow regions. Thanks to the professional work of Russian anti-aircraft gunners, destruction and casualties were avoided. ▪️ Border regions also came under fire, resulting in injuries and casualties. The Belgorod region continues to suffer the most, with seven civilians injured. The tense situation also remains in Bryansk region - the AFU has increased the number of attacks with both UAVs and artillery, resulting in five casualties. And in Kursk region, the village of Alekseevka was subjected to heavy shelling, resulting in the death of one person. ▪️ The intensity of shelling of the Donetsk agglomeration has increased by more than 50% compared to last week. This has resulted in dozens of damaged civilian objects and a significant number of casualties: two dead and 66 injured. ▪️ The situation is also challenging on the left bank of Kherson region, which has been the focus of the enemy for the past week. Over the course of a week, the enemy fired approximately 400 pieces of ammunition, causing damage to residential buildings and infrastructure. Four civilians were wounded and one person was killed. As the New Year approaches, Ukrainian forces will continue to increase the intensity of attacks on both front-line and rear areas. It is possible that the enemy will decide to launch another mass drone raid on the eve of the holidays. At the same time, the goals of these attacks are completely different: from causing economic and military damage to creating a media effect amid the failures of the AFU on the contact line. #Belgorod #Donetsk #Russia #Ukraine #Kherson Источник: Rybar in English
