Directed by the great Tim Pope, the ’Sex Dwarf’ video created a storm in 1981, hot off the wheels of Soft Cell’s n°1 smash cover of ’Tainted Love’. Claiming it was pornographic (while it was actually a mocking S/M spoof), British Police confiscated copies of it and had it banned from TV.
