Dinu Lipatti in Zurich in 1950: 3 solo works by Chopin

Dinu Lipatti’s February 7, 1950 concert performance of 3 solo works by Chopin: 0:20 Nocturne No.8 in D-Flat Major No.2 6:24 Etude in E Minor No.5 9:37 Etude in G-Flat Major No.5 ’Black Keys’ Lipatti played the Chopin E Minor Concerto at this symphonic concert, with Otto Ackerman conducting the Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra, and after the intermission these three solo works were programmed; the works were in fact on the printed programme, not played as an encore as some have believed, though it is certainly unusual to have solo works officially included in an orchestral concert. One can hear Lipatti preluding prior to his performance of the Chopin Nocturne.
