GF – GRANITE Easter Egg Coloring Without Chemicals (recipe in description box below)

This is an all-natural eco-friendly way to dye eggs and requires only few simple ingredients. Using this method each egg will be different and beautiful. You can use either brown or white eggs. Various patterns can be obtained by varying the way you wrap eggs prior to boiling. Ingredients: 3 white shell eggs (raw) 3 brown shell eggs (raw) 1.7 oz Hibiscus tea (50 g) Handful of yellow onion skins (crushed) 1/2 page of white printing paper (cut in various small shapes) 1 tsp salt 6 cups water (1.5 l) You will also need: Gloves Cheesecloth Kitchen Twine Paper towel 1. Bring eggs to room temperature (keep on countertop for 30 min) 2. Peel off few onion skins (organic onion) 3. Crush onion skins and place into a bowl 4. Cut paper in small various patterns 5.
